Equinix to Host Japan Network Operator’s Group 22nd Meeting in Tokyo

Tokyo, Japan — July 10, 2008 — Equinix, Inc. (Nasdaq: EQIX), the leading global provider of network-neutral data centers and Internet exchange services, announced today that Equinix is hosting the JANOG22 meeting taking place in Tokyo from 10th to 11th July, 2008.
JANOG22 is organized by the Japan Network Operator’s Group (JANOG), formed to promote the development and improvement of the Internet in Japan. JANOG conducts up to three forums per year that are well attended by network operators and engineers throughout Japan.
Over 450 attendees representing groups such as network providers, content delivery networks and equipment providers are expected to attend JANOG22. The forum serves as a platform where network operators or engineers can participate in technical and operational discussions regarding the current status and future of Internet both in Japan and international.
Equinix is also hosting the Technical Committee on Internet Architecture (TCIA) meeting taking place on 9th August that is being held in conjunction with JANOG22.
